Day 120 - Monday 29th. Catching up with Alison and Ryan

Day 118 - Saturday 27th April - UOW Photo Contest Judging and Family and Friends Concert

Today was the announcing of the winners of the Illawarra Flame photo competition
at the Innovation Campus of UOW.
I got into the final 10 but alas - no prize today with this shot taken out of
 Jambaroo on the Fountaindale Rd.

It was also WHC Family and Friends concert at the
Ribbonwood Centre in Dapto.
Here we are with our new bling that we sourced from China
 - what a drama but worth it!
  

Day 117 - 26th April - I gave blood today ...

I am reminded of the colour red!

Day 116 - Thursday 25th April - ANZAC Day

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old;
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.


A day when we remember 'the Fallen' and fly our flag proudly.

Day 115 - Wednesday 24th April - Pretty

Day 114 - Tuesday 23rd - We went to see the 'Black Cat!'

Here we are by the beautiful lake Illawarra.
It's just too tempting to sneak up on these unsuspecting birds!

We waited on Kanahooka Point for the splash down by the catalina from HARS.
Here she comes!

Day 113 - Monday 22nd. Don't come the raw prawn!

Day 110 - Friday 19th - Travelling home.

It's been such a long day - they really had to sit and wait on platform 25,
Hungry Jacks crowns and all.

Sharing the Ipad made the trip go faster!

Day 109 -Thursday 18th - Time for Harry to go home

Cousins on the train heading up to Sydney to meet up with Aunty Katrina.

After a play at Darling Harbour Water Park (even if it was a bit chilly - brrrrr)

Day 107 - Tuesday 16th April - Three Terrors

It is no mean task to take a decent photo of the three terrors!
Here's the last one which turned ot to be best - at least they had to stay still in their seatbelts!

Day 106 - Trace takes the kids down to pick up the doggies.

She needed a black coffee when she got back with three kids and three dogs !!!!!

The puppies are home at happy and Woofy is staying over until next week.

Had to do some repairs on his bed that Chloe's (?and he) monstered.

I think it's a hit.

Day 105 - it's Sunday and time to go home.

We woke to a bright sunny day so had brekkie on the terrace, packed up and checked out of the hotel to do a run down the coast to Tweed Heads before we had to return the car and fly out at 2pm. It was a lovely morning, great scenery - a nice way to spend our lady morning. We pick up Harry at Central, say bye to Brad and get home for tea at 745pm. Time for Harry to have fun with some hats.

We met Katrina at Central and picked up Harry who is coming to stay with us for a couple of days.

He loves my hats - here he is in a couple of them

Day 104 - it's raining on the Coast. Saturday 13th.

It's raining but we head out in the rental car to see some soggy sites towards Mt Tambourine above the Gold Coast. We get to the turn off and there's been a slip and the roads closed. So, off we go to Beechmont and Binna Bunna. Back to the hotel for a yum cha lunch and nanna nap.

Day 103 - we're off to NEQ

Onto the train at 530am and we arrive at our hotel in our 'veteran' rental Falcon at around 1230pm. We are looking forward to our couple of veggie days in our mystery destination. It's a bright sunny day but rain is forecast for tomorrow.

Day 102 - Thursday 11th April

Getting ready for our weekend away on the Gold Coast.
Down to Lees today to take the doggies down for a sleepover.

Day 101 - Wed 10th. UK Photobooks finished!

At last finished the UK photo's.
A 60 page, then an additional 20 pages.
This is one of my favourite photo's - taken in Lowth a suburb of Dublin.
We spent our free day travelling on the DART and this was the end of the line.

Day 100 - Flowering Gum

Don't you love these amazing gum blossums?
My grafted gum copped the chainsaw when the SES
were tidying up our fallen limbs in the front yard.
It's still alive but is a different shape!
